Company Development

In 1987 CEO Volker Marquard founded together with his former business partners the Engineering Office as Prisma GmbH (Limited Company). In the years between 1992 to 1997 the Company expanded into the Business Areas of Boiler Plants, Planning and HSE. 

Since 1998 Prisma GmbH is active world-wide.

In 2001 Prisma GmbH became NV-Enertech GmbH.  

In 2003 Quality Assurance in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 was introduced, further Certification (SCC** since 2005, SCP since 2011) followed.

In 2009 NV-EnerTech GmbH re-located into the new Passive House, supporting the economic   efficiency  of the company and setting an example for the conscious use of natural resources.

In 2014 the NV-EnerTech GmbH became the NV-EnerTech GmbH & Co. KG. In the same year, a South African subsidiary was founded in Johannesburg, the founding of a subsidiary in Poland followed one year later.

In 2018 NV-EnerTech expanded the Services Provision into the business Area of Technical Buildings Facilities. In the same year, the next generation of Entrepreneurs, represented by Michel Marquard, joined the Company.

In 2019 NV-EnerTech Consulting & Engineering GmbH & Co. KG changes the company name to Marquard Engineering GmbH & Co. KG.

In 2021, Marquard Engineering GmbH & Co. KG realigns its quality management. It is switching from the national occupational health and safety certificate according to the SCC regulations 2011 to the globally recognized certification according to ISO 45001:2018 and thus expanding its integrated management system. This now combines the certifications according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), SCP-VAZ 2021 (personnel service providers) and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety).
